° Starting Salary of $33,000 (upon completing 5 years of service the top pay is $68,781 annually)

° Uniformed Patrol Officers work three 12-hour and 20 minute shifts a week. Every third week officers are required to work a fourth 12-hour and 20 minute shift.

The last day to apply is February 15, 2008.

I applied on the first day, all three of my friends that work for mtapd called me and told me to apply lol, they also told me to use them as the employee referal..

Don't know, I've heard everything is on a pass or fail basis.
I've also heard that having family members or friends in there helps too unlike civil service positions, because on this you are hired by the MTA, not by a city or county.

yeah, my cousins friend (who I talked to a couple times) told me that with the LIRRPD it was who you know, now its strictly if you get picked by the lottery
