we all got our assignments today. alot of people were unhappy because there so called hooks did not come through. almost 300-400 went to brooklyn north. I was lucky and went to bk south. all I can say is do not count on your hooks. A guy in my class has a chief in his family and that wasnt good enough.

I work in the 67, a very good & busy house to work out of. We're pretty much the "75 of Bklyn South" so to say lol. Bosses are great, overtime is great & the cops are great (the guys with a lotta time on are willing to answer any questions you may have.) You'll see & experience things there than you will in any other command IMO...

That actually looks like what happened this time around. I busted my *** during the academy, had the highest GPA in my company, was chosen to do a telephone survey for the department because of my conduct and dedication. I got my first pick, Manhattan Transit. I believe many people who were selected to help with the survey got their first picks off the dream sheets. Company Sgt's didn't even get their first picks!

Rumor has it that only 40 people from the entire class are going to transit. The majority are going to brooklyn south, as stated before. We had ALOT going to PSA 2 and brooklyn south housing IRT.

I already asked this question in another thread but since you've went through it. What's the written and physical agility test like? I'm from Baltimore and I registered to take the written test in Feb. Again congratulations!!!!
