Hello lads!
I'm a Garda with a year's service, still a rookie really. I'm going to Manhattan in on Saturday week for five days, can't wait! It's my favourite city and holiday destination in the world!

What I want to ask is, is there any station/precinct that I could call into to get a tour, or some memorabilia?

Thanks in advance,
David Hamblyn

If you contact the NYPD Emerald Society, they should be able to assist you. My family's from County Cork. :)

OK cheers mate!

I grew up in Cork City, but am now living in Gorey and commute to Bray every day.

Cheers for the help.

Well, if you're part Irish, you wouldn't have asked an ignorant question like that.
I drink a lot of lucozade, cola, milk maybe not enough water. With my dinner, like a big roast one, I prefer the milk. But with fast food, you can't go wrong with Coca Cola. After nine o clock, I don't like taking that much sugar in so I go for plain water.

Also, In the mornings, I love a cup of tea!

Unfortunately, over here if we don't drink fluids, we keel over and die.
I hope this has answered your question!

Don't forget about the Police Museum, donations accepted, and they have a gift shop.

First off there CIVILLIAN, have a little respect for a sworn Officer. Remember where you are and your place in the pecking order.

Secondly, you started off your asinine question with "I have a serious question". This may be news to you, but sarcasm is NOT transmitted well over the internet, when the intended recipient can not hear your tone of voice or see your facial expressions.
