Are any of the 0083 positions listed open to entry level officers? The annoucements are not very clear about this. I see that there are openings in my area at Philadelphia and Lakehurst Naval Bases. Are they willing to send new hires for training? I am half way through with my master's but have no LE experience. Any replies are appreciated.

Yes they are willing to send new hires for training, read the qualifications section of the annoucement it should tell you what experience or education above high school you need for the job.

Philadelphia is NOT an entry level assignment. Its a closed base so its pretty much older guys looking to do nothing. I know quite a few folks there.

As far as Lakeworst goes. They do not send through a NJ academy. You will attend an in house police academy which is not waiverable to any of the states in the area.
