There were two aging southern belles sitting on the back porch one night remembering the good old days. It went like this. (spoken with a feminine southern drawl)
"Charlotte my dear, do you remember the nights we used sit out on the veranda and watch the stars?"
"Why yes Melanie. I remember it like it was yesterday. Those were wonderful days!"
"And Charlotte, do you recall that fine young man from the next county that you were smitten with?"
"Of course I do Melanie. He was the one who introduced me to mint julips! You remember mint julips don't you?"
"Oh Charlotte, of course I remember that! Don't you recall I used to sip them while I watched you and that young man dance? And you remember the minuet don't you?"
"Heck no Melanie! I can't even remember the ones I slept with!"
