What is a good search glove that everyone is using?
Something that allows you to drive, write, shoot, but still give you protection from sharps and needles.

I have been using Hatch Street Guard for the past few years, but thinking of upgrading.

I've been looking at Turtle Skin Search Gloves ($80.00)

https://www.turtleskin.com/store/ProductInfo.aspx?productid=TUS-002&Referrer=PoliceCorrectionsNeedleGloves.html

and at HexArmor Gloves ($52.00)

http://www.hexarmor.com/products/item/needlestick-resistant/hexarmor-4041-nsr/

Just wondering what you didn't like about the Turtle Skins and what you think of HexArmor if you've even heard of them? It's between the two of them for needle protection. Know any other really good gloves I should look at??

Hatch Streetguard are great gloves. I use them all the time:driving, shooting, search, bike patrol, even typing on my MDC. Have used them for several years and really think they are the best out......

How are they as far as puncture protection from needles? Personal experiences? Needles are my biggest concern......

I really like the Hatch Friskmaster gloves with Spectra lining. That Spectra lining feels incredible and I find myself wearing the gloves at all times because they feel so good (which is really how they should be used anyway). I've heard some complaints about the Hatch Street Guard w/X11 lining not having a very grippy palm, so I stayed away from those. But the Friskmasters with Spectra sure are nice. Order two sizes and send the one that fits the worst back.
