Not to good compared to most. 25k to 27k a year.

Starting pay after graduation is around 30-31k. They currently have a patrol school in right now. There is a possiblity of another school. Probably after the first of the year.

I recently talk to a rep from MHP about there yearly magazine, and I tell you what....She was very helpful in pointing me in the right direction. She also told me to checkout the MHP's association web site. They have some good pic's. Man you MHP boys are a squared away group, keep up the good work TCAP. Here is the site (mstroopers.com)

Starting pay is 35K after completion of the Patrol School. I have heard they are having another school after the one going on right now is completed and then I have heard that it may be two years before another school so who knows. And the boots are Justin boots.

There are always rumors of "another school right after this one" I've heard em for 10 years and never seen it happen. They never get enough money appropriated but for one school at a time. They also can't seem to figure out how to do backgrounds, testing and selection while a patrol school is going on so they can be ready to do another as soon as one is done. But honestly, the TAC officers need time to recover from one class before starting another, the physical demands on them are too much to do back to back classes.
