I've done some looking around on this site for info regarding this academy and have come up short. I'm thinking about using my Nat'l Guard tuition assistance to sponsor myself through an academy. The three closest to where I live are the Alameda Co. Regional Training Center, Delta College's police academy, and the Ray Simon Regional Criminal Justice Training Center @ Modesto Junior College. I've met a few people in my CJ classes at Delta Community College that were also going through their academy at the same time, and not to sound harsh, but it appeared that they don't very high P.T. expectations. I'm not sure if Alameda Co. takes self sponsors, but their para-military style (from what I've heard) appeals to me. That leaves me with the Ray Simon Academy @ MJC. I don't know anyone that has been through that academy, but MJC's website makes it look like a pretty squared away academy. I was just wondering if anyone on here has been through it or has any info.
