I'm In.(extended POST Acad.)

So after the PAT this past weekend.... I'm in the extended Academy at the Saftey Center in Sacramento. I have seen some folks asking about it. Is anyone else attending?

some other questions for those who may know:

- when should I be able to start the process of appyling to dept's to recieve a conditional offer?
- with the scheduling (T,W,Th,Sat) will depts understand if I can't always go on a ride a long before the oral board interview pannel?
- re: appling as an "Academy Graduate".... any words of wisdom for me/us?

i also went extended... i applied like 2 months after i started, even though we were told not to apply halfway through.. oh wells.. hehe. i got hired before the academy was half way through. i didn't go on a ride along since the city was like 2 hours from me... however i did go on a lot once i got hired by them...

academy grads are usually favored and fast for the process.. you usually don't take a written or physical...don't screw up in the academy since the first people they are going to contact are you training officers and staff
