Has anyone had any experience with this PD? How is the hiring process? I am assuming written, Physical Ability, Oral Board,background/Polygraph, CPT interview?

yes , according to their website, but a chief's interview not capt... had a buddy who worked there before lateralling to SD Sheriffs... he said it was very very slow and boring. but it depends on what you want to do... my buddy is happy with SDSO and in patrol...

I figured it would be a bit on the boring side but with what I have been going through the past few years I am ready for some stability, and a little boring would be a nice change of pace. Does this PD use a polygraph or CVSA?

You don't enter this profession to be bored, though.

roger, i'm not saying I want a boring job i'm just saying lack of constant excitement doesn't bother me. When TSHTF I can handle myself but i'm mature enough to not go crazy and keep myself proactive when things get a little slow.
