At least you'll miss most of the heat. I couldn't imagine being in the academy right now out there. It has to be 110+ at their driving facility in Glen Helen right now.

Yeah, I heard alot of recruits were passing out due to the heat.

Judging from the dates you posted it will be a close one for you to attend the October session. The next one after this will probably be your best bet depending on how you scored on all your tests. If you scored well you will be towards the front. Yeah it is really hot out there, and yes there have been alot of people passing out, but it is only the idots that can't seem to put some water in their guts. Hope you have been running and preparing yourself physically...the tac staff loves to run and they are machines!! Haven't had anything less than 4-5 miles at 7-8 minute pace. Hope everything goes well for you!

Thanks! I have been training, running alot.I have friends in the department as well and gave me some insights about the Academy. We'll see what happens. Find out on wed.
