Yet another Guardian has been removed from the ranks of THE THIN BLUE LINE.

While this Warrior was on the nation's highways performing his duties of keeping the roadways safe.

One of those he was protecting commited one of the many, many deeds that justify our being on those roads and highways. Not paying attention to what he was doing.

And by doing that act made a family a broken home. A wife lost her husband and two little ones, not even old enough to understand what has been taken away from them, their Daddy.

The greeting they get everyday, will not be given from this day foward. The greeting kiss that his wife expects will not ever again be given to her upturned face. A Warrior will not open the door and enter his santuary anymore.

Only a moment of not paying attention will leave a driver with the vision of an Officer flying down the highway in front of his truck. It will be printed on his mind and in his dreams for the rest of his life.

St. Michael escorts another Warrior home today...

Rest in Peace Brother,
The streets you watch now, will be streets of purest gold.
Your transfer has been approved.
Rest in Peace
