We lost a Park Ranger on June 19th...

Ranger Shaffer was killed in an airplane crash near Mt. McKinley in Denali National Park, Alaska. Ranger Shaffer and two civilian rangers were being flown in a Cessna 185 to a 7,200-foot base camp on Mt. McKinley when the pilot radioed that he was turning around due to bad weather at 18:30 hours. There was no additional communications with the plane.
