Officer Gamble was killed after being stabbed by an inmate at the Oklahoma State Reformatory. The inmate was attacking and stabbing another officer when Officer Gamble went to assist him. The inmate then stabbed Officer Gamble. Both officers were transported to a local hospital where he died the next morning.

If anyone knows the status of the other Officer involved... please let me know. Officer Gamble died trying to save this man's life... I'd like to know that he succeeded.
