No one really understande what it is like to really be a 24/7 person, except a Law Enforcement Officer, when something of this nature occurs.

Whenever a crime happens and is witnessed by one of us, we have to act just as if we are in uniform.

It is our oath, it is our duty, to protect, to defend and insure that the public's safety is intact at all times.

Sometimes this is the price our devotion to the SHIELD, and what it represents, will call for.

In our society there is an army of Guardians that protects all from the criminal elements that prowls outside that circle of santuary. For they would destroy all that stood between them, their lust and their greed if not for these Warriors.

Sometimes that THIN BLUE LINE loses one of its own and the wall it represents has lost one more brick.

This is something we all know and take with us, when we walk the streets, as one of those Guardians.

Rest in Peace Warrior.
Your next duty assignment will be on streets of purest gold. Your transfer has been approved.
Rest in Peace.
