Do All Mass. Troopers........

have the EXACT same two ink pens issued to them or what? LOL. I was looking at some images of officers to put together for a presentation and came across a HUGE collection of Mass. Troopers online. 99% of the pics I saw, the toops had the same 2 tall ink pens in their shirt pocket. I also noticed that they seemed to be wearing military Jump Boots. Anyone know of the brand of pens/boots they use? Seems kinda odd. :cool:

I seriously doubt they're issued, but many police officers (not just state police) use a matched Cross pen & pencil set because the chrome or gold finish matches the uniform. A Cross set is a very popular graduation gift for police academy recruits.

I used to have a Cross set, until I lost like three of them, now I just use whatever I find laying around.

I believe the boots are the Corcoran jump boots.
