What options do i have?

Hey there,

Im only 19 and am in my sophmore year and have been looking into Law Enforcement - mostly at local PD level. But after talking to some people im wondering what other options there are. Obviously there is State police, county sherifs, and FBI and USSS - but apparently there are other federal law enforcement jobs that are more local.

Im not sure of the details but i talked to a guy briefly who worked a federal law enforcement job related to social security fraud but at a local level in the mid-west. I didnt pressure him for details because i figured he got enough of that from everyone else.

What do you guys know about other law enforcement opportunities and anywhere i can go to get info?

I know its a vague question but hopefully some of you will be able to see what im asking.

Not to sound silly, but internet internet internet... it has all you need and more for the general sorts of questions you have about law enforcement. Short of border patrol and TSA ... federal usually requires more than just a Bach, unless it is in one of a very few rare fields.
