It's official, I am no longer a correction officer, I am now a recruit police officer for the NYPD. I am so happy to be out of jail.... Well everyone, take care and be safe in those facilities... Oh yeah, wish me luck! ;)

I remember 1996. I had been a CO with the Georgia Department Of Corrections for 6 years and had just been hired by a county Marshals Office. I was about as excited as a person could be to get out from behind those walls. I wish you the best of luck and stay safe.
