Hoping someone who has time in NYS DOC (years) will be able to answer a few questions.
What is the upper age limit for DOC, entry level?
Is there a tenure in the retirement system, or would someone have to complete the max. i Believe it to be 25 years?
Have a few questions concerning NYS DOC, just not wanting to post them in an open forum.

There is no upper age limit on coming into the Department.

Retirement is 25 years, OR, at age 62 with however many years in with no penalty, at I believe 1.66% per year of service.

Any other questions just ask away.

Nope, no plan that covers 100%. Doctor's visits are typically $18 a shot and prescriptions are $18 a shot. Current price for family coverage is $89.59 a payday.
