Who is hiring?

I live in IL and trying to figure out which cities are hiring so i can apply. I e-mail bolingbrook and naperville police department and they say that applications will be accepted may 2008 (almost 1 year from now).

I would greatly appriciate if anyone posts which agencies are hiring.


Also, how long does this whole application/testings proccess take?

You can look on the respective dept websites to see who is currently hiring. Also, app./processing can be as short as 3 months or as long as up to a year and a half.

Phoenix PD is hiring a lot of new officers.

Nevada Highway Patrol is on a huge hiring campaign. The pay and benefits are really good. We also take laterals. Here is the link for anyone interested:

Alot of agencies in GA are hiring. The pay sucks, but if you want to do this, it isnt a bad place to get your experience.
