I can not decide

I need help with deciding on what dept I should work for.

I was thinking of dispatch with my SAR training from the Coast Guard.

I am told there are other positions available that I could take other than just doing that. Something maybe more on the tech side of the house....

Besides your SAR background, what other skills/education do you have? What do you really want to do? Hands on, or sitting behind a console slinging the calls for service? It's your choice, and there are a number of jobs for you to consider, both sworn and civilian.

With this OS rate we are a mix between operators and troubleshooters.

I have applied with some tech recruiters and they told me I could do some IT work as well.

I am planning on going back to college when I get out.

I like the intel, IT stuff, dispatch.

It just depends on what is available.

I need to know what jobs that are in LE entail such activity?
