St Louis County PD

Anyone familiar with this agency that might provide some info for me?

I'm curious what the academy is like (I'm hoping, hoping, hoping to apply and be accepted for the one starting in October). I'm also curious what the shift schedule is like, e.g. is it a typical night shift only for several years, or does everyone rotate shifts, etc.

I'm right there with you. I am applying for the October class too. I've found a little info by searching, but not tons, Also talked to a few officers on duty. I've heard they are in need of new officers.
Hopefully we'll be in the academy together!

I was looking at St Louis County and St Louis City PD. Both look like good departments. Does anyone know why the County police polygraph and the City police do not? I work in Maryland and here the polygraph is REQUIRED for all police agencies.....it's not an option. Just curious!
