How would having an internal investigation at your old job affect you working for NYPD?
from what i can gather from my process thus far, just be as detailed as possible and don't hide anything cause if they find out about it without you telling them it will not look good. Unless you were found stealing, injuring, killing someone/something you should be fine. If it was like an internal theft thing where you were thought to be involved in an internal case but the outcome was you were not then you are fine. But usually you would never find out your part of an internal theft case unless you were found guilty, thats how it worked when i did security at my last job, you didnt know we were investigating you until we pulled you and pretty much pressed charges.

There was no stealing, killing, or fighting involved.

lol NYPD needs to start doing something to gain respect back and it has to do with starting salary... i bet if they put the starting salary up to 30k and then icrease it to like 36k after the academy applications would double and there would be no need to hiring people who anywhere else would be dqed... where in Westchester you from SMPPD

Hows the MVPD? I'm taking my physical on July 7th. From what I see it looks like a good department, very start of the art facilities, no **** holes like the NYPD. I am definitely looking forward to joining MVPD. For all I care NYPD can kick rocks.

MVPD is a pretty good job. about as close to NYPD as you're gonna get.

that's up to you but if you omit it be prepared to explain the gap in your employment history if they bring it up.
