Are any State or Federal Labor Inspectors/Compliance Officers in the United States provided with any use of force option including and up to a firearm ?
In particular, agencies such as New York State Dept. Of Labor Apparel
Industry Task Force (read: Sweatshop Unit), State of New Jersey Dept. Of Labor Apparel Industry Unit, and the State of California Economic and Employment Enforcement Coalition....

I am unaware of any such agencies being armed, or even allowing firearms carry. As a rule, agents of these agencies issue citations or inspection reports,but do not function as "Police Officers" per se. I would imagine that if they anticipated a violent response to any action they planned, that they would seek the assistance of the appropriate local, county. or state police agency.
