Just a quick question about credit. Over the past few years I have accumulated a lot of debt. Nothing out of the ordinary, just school loans, car loan, and some credit cards. Added all up it seems like a lot of debt, but nothing I can't handle. I have never missed a payment in my life. Will this still be frowned upon in any background investigation? So my question is does having a lot of debt hurt just as much as a bad credit score? I know my credit rating is as high as it could possible be.

as far as i can see , as long as you make your payments , and don't default on anything then you should be fine. As long as you pay what you should when you should then i don't see how they can frown on how you maturely spend your money. At my psych he asked me some questions about my credit history about if i paid my bills on time , but i passed it . You should be fine.
