I was kinda wondering, since when did an intelligence agency even have its own police force when it was already on Ft. Meade.
Same reason every other Intel Agency (CIA, DIA, NRSO, etc....) has a police force. To protect their personnel and assests.
I worked as a MP at Meade for a little over a year and we worked with NSA Police a lot.....
Good equipment, they seemed to be paid well, and seemed to be treated well. A lot of them were leaving because (like a lot of Federal Police Agencies) it was more security orientated than police orientated.....and most young officers want to chase speeders and kick doors in.....and you won't be doing that there.....
I would suspect their SWAT Team is well trained but don't do a lot due to not a lot happening up there....but that' just me.....
I also doubt that there is a lot of stuff published about the Team due to OPSEC.
