I've recently sent out my application for SacPD and SacCounty (about 2 weeks apart). I've recieved a letter from SacPD stating that my testing for the written exam will be this Saturday. So my question is:
How long does it take for you to recieve your T-score? I know it depends on each agency, but what have you guys personally witnessed?
My plan is to take my SacPD score (assuming I pass) and using it for SacCounty (assuming that they accept it in the first place)

Sorry to pull your thread off a little, but what's the average or a "decent," T score?

In Sacramento I took my test on a Saturday, Got called for Oral the following Friday for the next Tuesday and all I knew was I passed; I recived my score on the next Monday. So I would say about a week depending on the agency. Many cut off scores are in the lower and mid-40's. Sacramento's cutoff is 42. I got a 63.4 on my T-Score and am told this is an excelent score.

Wow thanks for the info. This definately helps me out! How was your experience with the oral board, and how long did it take?

Depends on the Dept. some get back to you very quickly... some don't. I was averaging 59ish and just got a 64.7 with Stockton. Anything over 60 is a great score. Over 55 is also excellent but a seccond rank score sometimes. Just be true to the test... don't read into it at all and your score will be high.
