Any Newport Beach PD officers here? I have some questions...I am interested in applying...

I'm not with NBPD, but I did process with them a coupla years ago as a lateral. I didn't get past the oral, I think they wanted a much more politically-correct officer than my inner city LA area experience was going to give them.

I'll try to answer any questions you have that I can from my limited experience with them, in lieu of someone actually with the agency that arrives in-thread and can answer them for you.

i think all those high paying agencies in south OC (irvine, costa mesa, HBPD, NBPD) want the politically correct officers since it's a majority rich and wealthy people...
