FALSE IA COMPLAINTS

A Lt. at my department has been targeted by a litigious individual for numerous false IA complaints. The complaints have all been ruled as unfounded. We have heard that some of you have suscessfully sued similar complaitants. If you have any information on preparing a civil case please respond here or to the Lt.'s address at fleet14@aol.com

Here in California, there is actually a criminal code that prohibits filing false complaints against police officers... perhaps your state has a similar statute?
