reserves puchase hi cap mags?

I was wondering can reserves purchase hi cap mags? does it matter what level reserve they are? and does it matter what type of mags I could buy? I was told by someone that reserves and full timers can purchase pretty much any hi cap mags.... thinking extreme, then can they purchase like a beta c mag for an ar? and no i don't have an ar.

second question, can reserves and full timers order online from another state and have the mag shipped to them? and can they go out of state and purchase one and come back in with it?

If you are a reserve, before you make any high-capacity purchaces, ask your Department coordinator what the agency policy is concerning reserves and weapons. Some agencies do have restrictions. Additionally, there are outlets in most large cities of CA that deal with law enforcement personnel for HC mags and weaponry.
