CA red light camera question

well here goes my story.
i was the first car waiting in a left turn lane at an intersection at a red light. the light turns green. it's not an green arrow so i had to yield. i slowly pulled up getting ready to make a left. i was waiting for oncoming cars to pass. light turns yellow and i turn i believe on the yellow... that's the last color i saw. and then bam a bright flash. a white work truck waiting behind me also went after me. should i be stressed? i know for sure i didn't run no RED light since i was in the intersection at green.

the small city I used to work in did not have any red light traffic cams, so I have no knowledge on how they work. the city PD that the cam was in, whittier, said that even though it was in whittier, LASD takes care of it. and LASD i guess contracts with CHP. so CHP sends the tickets. should i be paranoid? is there a way we can check online if I did get a ticket? I was told that I should received something within 15 days.

If you were already within the intersection when the signal turned RED then you will not receive a ticket. You have the right of way and lawful right to clear the intersection before any other traffic on the intersecting roadway can legally move. I would not be too concerned if I were you!

oh, and by the way you were in the county area of whittier patroled by Norwalk Station...but like CHP said you were already in the intersection, so you should be fine......
