Hey guys, I just wanted to let everybody know that I just got the call from LAPD this morning! I start the March class. I would like to thank everybody who has helped me out and given me information, I really appreciate it. PK, fully intend to take advantage of you website ;)

Congrats Berlioz. You might consider moving to Glendale for the academy or somewhere not quite as far a drive. Assuming you'd be going to the Original Academy.

Congrats!!! oohhh ,how terrible, he'll be running PT on the "mean streets" of Weschester(and making fun of all those fat airport cops getting code 7 at the pollo loco)-look out for the "dip" at 78th and osage -LOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!! Westchester trng facility it will be.see ya' soon when you do bldg search trng in the "Square".........

I hope so, Granada hills would be death. As far as moving, Im looking into it but Im definately going to have to make some "test" drives to see what traffic is like and such. I know from Yorba Linda its like 45 minutes or less (we'll test that professional courtesy out early ;) ..jk) in the morning, but comming back at 1430 may be rough, if all else fails I'll find a buddy who is staying close to crash with from time to time.

Thanks everybody, when I first joined this site I remember reading about all the horror stories of LAPD's process, so Im just glad that everything worked out.
