Hello...Been lurking for awhile, but now that I am in the hiring process for a local department, I decided to register. Currently in the military, 5 years, getting out soon obviously. I hope to get hired and persue a long career in LE. I know that I know nothing about the job and it may not be for me, but I am hoping I love it and I won't have to look for any more jobs the rest of my life. Thank you to all the officers past and present who protect America's homeland. Have a good one.

Welcome to the board and good luck with the process. Which dept by the way, I'm from Central NC?
Also, do a ride along or two and you'll know for sure if you wanna be in LE.
Not to deter you but its a great information tool for those in the process with their agency.
