Any Department Would Be Interested

Hey guys or ladies just curious as to if any one knows of any type of intership or cadet status that departments have that will allow me to get involved with there department and hopefully lead to becoming employed once I reach the age of 21 as a Full Time police Officer... All responses are very much welcomed and Appreciated.

I currently Have about 10 hours of College along with my Commerical Single and Multi Engine Airplane License and not to mention that I can teach any one in aircraft to allow them to get there license. I am wondering if there would be any Departments that would be interested I currently live in Oklahoma City and I am willing to relocate given the best situation, if there would be need for me at a department. I will be 21 the beginning of July. As for my Background I have One accident and 1 speeding ticket on my record and nothing else on my background. Am very eager to work for a growing and great Department.

A good friend of mine currently w/ the DoD Police was a PO for PWCPD. He always said great things about the department & regrets leaving. I grew interest in the dept but wasn't sure about living in VA.

I am currently in the process for a cadet position with the Fairfax County Police, right next to Prince William County. I know they are still hiring, my friend just applied a couple weeks ago. While you do get paid, honestly, it is not nearly enough to live here. Police officers who make much more than the cadets are having a hard time to buy in the county. I am only 19 and still live with my parents. So that isn't a problem for me. Good luck with whatever you decide.
