US Marshals Service

I plan on applying for an internship for the US Marshals Service at their building in Lincoln, Nebraska and was just wondering if anyone can tell me what sort of things an intern does here. Thanks in advance.

I was an intern with the U.S. Marshal Service in the Northeast part of the country. It was great I learned many many things and made great contacts in networking in the law enforcement sector. Sort of things I did were basic office work filing organizing that sort of thing. I was able to sit in the court room audience and watch court process and the Mrshals job as far as court security goes.
At the time of the interview I was informed by the Marshal the type of things I would be doing. It is a great oppurtunity; however, my advice to you is intern in any federal or local sector that is open to hiring now. U.S. Marshal service is not hiring currently and may not be for a while.
