Just curious about how many of you guys on here went from a department of 10-15 officers and a city population of 9K, to a department of 200+ and city population of over 100K. There's a good possiblity that I'm in this situation and have wanted to work for a large agency all my career. Now it's just around the corner and I'll admit it, I'm a little nervous. Any pearls of wisdom to through my way?
To put it into perspective: current jurisdiction - fairly rich (old money), small amout of crime, draw about 700 cases per year. Perspective agency, large-urban setting, over 120,000 calls per year.
