Well I'm in the market for a duty weapon and want to get the USPf 45 with LEM trigger.

The best price I've found so far was 739 out of state and 725 in state (but about a 6 hour drive away.)

Seems to me there was a company in New York that had outstanding prices on LE firearms especially H&K.

Does anyone know where the best prices are on USPs?

Also does anyone presently use a USP 45 with X200 light in the variant 1 model for work? If so what holster do you use. I'm love to get the variant 1 and carry cocked and locked but I can't find a holster to save my life.

There are holsters available apparently for that light/gun combination, I would contact Safariland to see if they have a 6280/6004 available for the HK with the X200, I would also verify what rail-mount to use prior to purchasing.

Otherwise, the HK USP-45/USP-45 Tactical (carried Condition One) with the UTL may have to suffice for now, you can always throw on an X200 on the HK45 next year (see www.hkpro.com) with integral 1913 Picatinny rail, but we'll have to wait for holsters for those. The wait may very well be worth it.

OOOO, the HK45, I'm saving my pennies for that right now. I've had my USP for over 100k rounds of flawless fun but that HK45 looks like it might fit my hand even better!!!

I've called Safariland about holsters and they have said the only holster they make for the USP 45 and the X200 combo is with the LEM trigger (bobbed hammer)

I was thinking about selling off the X200 and buying a UTL but I've heard its not anywhere near as good as the X200.

I'll probably just go with the LEM and have the springs swapped out to bring it down to 5 pounds.

I like the look of the HK45 but as it stands right now its not on the approved list for the department so I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Can't wait to see those though!! :D
