Hello All,

I have an interview scheduled with my BI for the US Capitol Police next week. For those who had an interview with their BI, can you clue me into some of the questions asked? Just want to be prepared. I appreciate any feedback.

This step in the process is called the personal interview. There is no way to prepare. You and your BI will review your blue book line by line. Once that is done, you will answer a slew of questions. All of the questions are related to your life. The questions are related to your job history and drug history, among many others. There is no way to prepare for this interview. Just think about each question and answer it truthfully. Keep in mind that these questions are used by your polygrapher to come up with the questions for the polygraph.

FYI: Like I said, there is no way to prepare so do not stress yourself out. My interview was very relaxed. It wasn't until several weeks later when a recruiter told me that the interview DQ's many candidates. Keep in mind that what you have done in your past can not be changed. If for some reason the USCP does not like your answers than so be it. Best to tell the truth because when you make it past this round, it is on to the polygraph. Untruthful answers on the polygraph will DQ you in a heartbeat. Best of luck in the process.
