when i did mine it was about the same as a PD bg. 10 year history of jobs and residences and they wanted 5 references i believe. it was in 2k4 i did it though and i never did take the job after all that.

im curious about this too. i passed the test, filled out the online background. but i havnt gotten anything back after 3 months

Yeah I took the test back in May and then didnt hear anything until about a month ago. Filled out the background and now jsut waiting some more

I did all of the testing and filled out the background packet but that was in the spring of 05 and I never heard back from them except for when new jobs were posted in my area.

I'm seeing quite a few OJT's @ my airport in LV, NV. But that's due to a very high turnover rate.Depends on how much of a need for new hires at that individual airport. I've seen backgrounds still being checked after an officer was on duty or complteing their OJT.
