BritCop in Iraq

Hello All. I'm new to Officer.com so this is my first thread. I am currently serving out in Iraq as an International Police Advisor for the British Government. After I'm done with this mission, next year, I'm planning to move to the U.S.A. with my family. I actually hold Dual-Nationality (British / American) as I was born in the U.S. but moved to the U.K. when I was only 7 weeks old. Hence I won't need a "green card" to work. I've got 24 years of experience in British Law Enforcement; Half of my time as a Cop, then more recently in Border Protection (Customs/Immigration) and, for the last 9 months out here in Southern Iraq. I'm wondering if there are any U.S. agencies out there, that will recognise my British L.E. experience / qualifcations, or am I going to have to start from "square one" with regards to a career in American Law Enforcement? I'd appreciate all the advice I can get from anyone State-side, especially if you work in the H.R. or recruitment side of things. Thanks guys!
