CBP Officer Question

I just checked the CBP CASS system and everything except drug screeniing is listed as completed. My drug screening is on Wed. My comcern is, it states my background is completed but I was never contacted by an investigator. The only thing I can think of is that I have had a Top Secret and Secret clearance years ago. Does anybody have any input on this?

Sounds like typical fed gov't not doing its job. They have to send an investigator to make sure you are real and exist.

I am currently in the process for CBP. I have a Video Based Test scheduled on Friday. Can anyone tell me what this consists of? I do not have any information about it in my packet.

What the G will often do is take the current clearance you have as good, then conduct another one on you at a later date. This is especially common for jobs that they are hiring mass numbers for. In all of my academies at FLETC, I have had at LEAST one person pulled out of class to talk with an investigator. This is for the position they are already hired for and are currently in school to obtain.

I was recently contacted by an investigator to set up a meeting. This comes after I was offered the job of cbp officer and notified of training dates later in January.
