Attorney General Investigator - Michigan

Employees in this job function as Attorney General Investigators performing investigative assignments in an area of the state. The employee, as a trained law enforcement officer, certified through the Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards (MCOLES), investigates alleged criminal violations involving state and federal laws, rules, and regulations.

This is the job description off of the State of Michigan web-site only abbreviated a little so not to take up too much space, but obvioiusly it's very non-specific. (And yes to some of you who may say, did you scroll all the way down the page? I did, and it's mainly a generic job function/description.) But is anyone here an Attorney General Investigator or personally know one? I Jjst recently became aware of this position and I was curious to learn more about what they do, and where they work out of. What is their major investigative focus? What is the potential for promotion, etc. Any info. would be appreciated. Please serious responses only. Thanks and stay safe.

My Ex-Sergeant is now a Special Agent with the MI AG's office. They have a number of divisions that coincide with the "hot button issues" of the moment. He started in Felony Child Support Enforcement, but has recently transferred to Cold Cases. There is a Computer Crime/Child Exploitation unit also.
