Anyone play pokerstars? (Pokerstars.com) I started playing pokerstars about a year ago, and just recently I started playing with real money on there and I had huge success, started with $50, and am now at almost $100 :). You just have to play smart and play on small stake tables. Oh if you don't want to play with real money, you can play with what they call "play money" as well. There are 2 gamesettings (Real Money, Play Money). Play money is just as fun, but I like Real Money more :).

They have Hold'Em, Omaha, Stud and some other stuff. They have a lot of tourneys and sit and go. Its an awesome program! If you like poker just get it this program is very good.

Over 30,000 players play this game at any given time.

I play Texas Holdem on Yahoo...no real money. I have a specific room I go to, and people that I've gotten to know. They're very social...tease....flirt... :eek: (imagine that)...it's fun. Don't get in there much these days, though. :rolleyes:

Ah Yahoo was fun when I was a noob, but then I found pokerstars :). But nothing can beat Yahoos Pool Game I find it really fun and relaxing :).

Also I used to play with play money as well, but after winning a lot I realized I could do the same with real money ;). Also there are huge rollers on Pokerstars, there are tables that are $200/$400 and average pot is like $5000, I've seen a pots go upto $60,000 before :). It just drives me nuts when I see that kind of money being made in this internet game.

LOL...I'm working two jobs to put three kids through college right now. I rub every dime until it squeaks. NO WAY am I going to risk losing money online gambling, but I do enjoy poker. Play money for me, until I win the lottery!

Hehe I understand but you don't need to win the lottery, to play with real money on pokerstars. I started with $50 and look at my success. I only play on $.02/$.04 stake tables..my winnigs add on and after a week of playing(Maybe 1-2hours a day) I have made almost $50!!! :)

ahh.. gotcha. musta mistook one for the other. thanks for the clarification. I never did it cuz i thought it was illegal. I always played on party poker with occasional drop in's at poker stars.
