Look up the training centers website. There should be information there for you. Otherwise let me know and I will explain it better.

Check out Bellevue I heard they were starting a program. Douglas County no longer has one due to a law Mr. Chambers got pasted.

Hahaha, yup he will be gone soon. I'm sure once he is gone he will still put his nose in where it shouldn't be. For some reason he didn't really bother us out here in Western Nebraska. Sounds like he only has it in for Omaha, Lincoln, and starting to work on Bellevue new program. Several agencies out here use reserves and normally pay them around $10.00 an hour.
Another term I ran across once I started working out here was "POSSE." I thought the sheriff Posse and Reserves were the same thing, but I was corrected right away. I guess reserves actual work the road and posse only work parades, crowd control, and or are used for search parties, so I'm told.

I'm a student at Omaha Central High. So I couldn't be happier to see Ernie go. LB1024 didn't make me to happy.

You gotta admit though, LB1024 was poetic justice.
"One city, one school district" didn't make a lot of people happy. And those people are the wealthy and influential ones of Omaha. The justice is that OPS attempts to take over more schools and gets kicked in the jewels and has to break up instead....that is a classic.. Can't wait to see what else Mr. Filibuster does before he leaves......
Hey Spectra...you forgot about the white t-shirts......
And for you that know anything about the third party liability law, vote for Peter Pirsch....he has said he is making it is goal to change that law......

I'll on have to chech Kleeb and Smith's stance the 3rd party issue. I have not decided who I want to vote for there yet. Any thoughts on this 423 thing? The only thing I have heard so far is it was brought in by out of state people. The only canidates I can't stand so far are Nelson and Ricketts, if you watch any local tv you know what I mean.

Nelson isn't as bad in my opinion, oh, and btw, about the response post earlier, I'm no rich person, and I can't stand LB1024.

I'm also sorry to deviate from the topic, but as a student under OPS, I've noticed these students failing to graduate, and it's hardly an issue that can be handled by the school. These students just have the mentality that school is meaningless reguardless of the resources available to them. More beurocracy isn't going to change that.
I'm not saying we need a larger school district, but we don't need it broken up either. I'd loose a lot of my friends to other districts if LB1024 continues.
