El Paso PD?

Hello, I've been looking at the El Paso website and it sounds interesting(salary seems kind of low though), anyone have any information on if they have good things about it or not? Also is the housing in the area affordable?

Homes are going up, but it's still pretty afordable here, over all. The increase in values/prices is due to Fort Bliss getting a lot more people. Or at least the increase in the increase is. Now how well can you live off the Police salaries here? I have no clue; I've never tried it. I have known a few civilians who said they tried to move to Albuquerque, where the pay is higher for most jobs, and they found that the low cost of living here more than made up the difference after all, so they came back. You could call, and ask to talk to some people here about how they're making it, and find out who's living off one salary, and how that's working out.
