Should Canada stop the Calgary Seal Hunt?

I hear that Canada is finally letting the Irish vote!!

I would say that is an issue for Canadians to decide.

I do wish they would stop calling our president a moron though.

Geez Mike, I just spit up my cereal. LMAO re the moron comment........ and you wonder why you are the most popular guy around. :D I have responded to that situation by saying I have at one time or another called all those I love a moron.

John,
In my earlier years I was a renegade to STOP THE SEAL HUNT. I remember crying when they showed us how they poked the eyes out of the Mother Seals so they couldn't watch and defend their babies being slaughtered.

I don't give a crap about a persons right to hunt, you don't hunt like this. And if you do, I hope what goes around comes around.

We'll stop calling Bush a moron when Letterman and Leno do! Seriously though, not a bright move. There were lots of calls for her to be fired. PM Chretien, whom a lot of people want to see retire, refused her offer of resignation.

JohnKelly, you seem to have an extensive knowledge of Canadian issues! You remind me of something a New Zealander told me once: Australia is a very nice place. It's just got too many bloody Australians! :D

I don't think anyone who can attain the office of president could be considered a moron.

You should be congratulating me on my extensive knowledge of Canadian issues and then again, maybe I got it wrong.

I think only a moron would want to be president in the first place.

What's the big deal about this anyway? How many people call politicians "morons" or "criminals" or what-have-you in private and not so private discussions? If everyone who called Clinton a "criminal" and everyone who called Bush a "moron" were forced to quit their jobs, the whole country would be unemployed.

Sorry JohnKelly, I was busy making repairs to my igloo. Is it true that Australians all carry big knives, drink lots of Fosters and play Aussie Rules Football all day long? :D

We do not drink lots of Fosters all day long - we drink lots of Victoria Bitter (VB), XXXX (FourX) and Cascade all day long - we export Fosters because no one will drink it in Australia.

A big knife would generally speaking be regarded as an Offensive Weapon but there are a lot of ifs, buts and howevers ie Prescribed Weapon, Prohibited Weapon, reason for carrying such a weapon and so on. For example, a person carrying a baseball bat could be charged with being in possession of an offensive weapon - it all depends on the intent.

We don't throw a Shrimp on the Bar Bee, we throw a Prawn on the BBQ.
