I wonder if these cops would feel the same way if someone stole THEIR duty weapons and used them in a crime? Shouldn't the COPS be held liable in that respect???

Jeeeeez...NOT what I wanted to wake up to this morning....

I can see how the Pawn Shop might have suspected something was up but how in the heck was Ruger supposed to know? It's just the typical anti tactic of filing frivolous lawsuits instead of taking on the 2nd Ammendment directly.

Even though there are already several precedents in this type of case, the trial lawyers will continue to bring this type of case until one is upheld. They smell blood in the water, or money in the bank really, I just like that lawyer/shark analogy. But we don't need tort reform. (heavy sarcasm on HIGH!)

If this or something later does manage to get through and is upheld on appeal, just think how far it will reach. Oil companies will be held responsible for arson crimes, auto makers will be held accountable for deaths involving cars and trucks (which outnumber murders by guns by about 5 to 1) and that stupid suit by that 300# lardazz against Mickey D will go forward. It will never end until all the lawyers have all the money.

What ever happened to being responsible for what you do?
