Well, Duh!
They actually needed a study for this? Talk about a waist of taxpayer money.

Sounds like the department of the obvious has been hard at work again. And to think they could have asked any of us and save all kinds of time and money.

Exactly what I thought when I read the article.

Next up, the Department of Redundancy will study the study to see if another study is required to determine if the original study was using valid protocol.

Dang, don't ya just love the government!

The last time I was this shocked was when Rosie O'Donnell came out of the closet.

You really have to get up early to pull one over on the US Department of Justice, eh?

Well I am glad I read that! Gee, I always thought they were all first timers and would be good disciplined inmates, who just wanted to do their time, get out to lead a responsible life and never be bad again. :D

That was a joke!

Didn't you hear the Department of Defenses report on how bullets could cause paralysis or possibly death?

Sadly, our tax money pays for these studies...

Yup... The stats on recidivism have been very clear and simple for some time now-- those in prison for any length of time tend to return either "voluntarily" (re-offend to come back) or re-offend because they can't help it. We should have a sign at the door that says, "Y'all come back now, hear."

As for stupidity... How about the warnings for handguns: Do not place in mouth and pull trigger. Could be harmful or fatal.
