OK I must be showing my age but the recent heat wave is draining me... :(
It's 11 AM here in South Jersey and it's already 90 degrees. It's like Mexico heat but without the pools and all-inclusive drinks ;) lol...Thank God I'm off because the last two days at work sucked. Monday's highlight was some girl fainting behind the wheel and taking out four parked cars along Ocean Drive (the beach road) she wasn't hurt bad but I though I was gonna faint my ownself at the scene while getting her out of the car and lifting her into the amb. Two of the parked cars were owned by French-Canadians who although they spoke only broken english proceeded to go into a cellphone and digital camera frenzy while beating my ear...The other two cars belonged to a blonde and a brunette in bikini's who were together on the beach...so it wasn't a complete fiasco ;)

Yesterday three out of our little five man squad decide to call out sick....and we can only get one person to come in...Highlight is the Electric co. shutting down power to half the town for an hour...which of course dragged out to three....The phones went crazy...I had to have the Special Officers out directing traffic at the streetlights in relays so we wouldn't have any drop.

However, I did manage to keep my vest on both days...so I'm still got something left I suppose.

She had the goods ;) lol......all natural too!......reason I know this is when I had to go up to the top of the dunes to look for them to ask a question an older woman comes up to me and identifies herself as the mother.....after a brief moment and rechecking the DL I realize I remember that 15- 20 yrs ago I used to arrest the mom every couple of months or so on various charges and she was built the same way!.....Sooooo...I've already met this blonde when she was in diapers..lol...which kinda made me feel old... however...I'm checking out mom..who I know from doing all those AR's is almost exactly the same age as myself and she's like a total hag  So I'm back to feeling good about myself. ;) The burnette actually was the more interesting one...I love blued eyed Irish girls ;) Maybe I should get the Frenchie's to copy me some of their photos for investigative purposes.

It's 10:15am here and it's already 89 deg. Geese, it has been 95 to 100 or over for too long now. I don't remember the last cool day we've had. Except for chillin inside with the air conditioner ... lol.

Vacationed in Texas once it was hot there in the 100's but it was different, the hummidity was not present, like it get's here in NC. I am ready for cooler weather!

Sounds like it's just as hot there, stay safe out in that heat! At least you are near the ocean. That would be awesome, I love the beach. One year my sister's and I were at Carolina Beach, we were sitting on the beach around 10pm and drinking a few frozen margarita's (my favorite) and there was a full moon rising over the ocean, the moon looked huge ... that was so beautiful! ... an no I wasn't drunk "yet" .... lol

Sorry I am rambling .... Must be this heat wave :D
