I'd like to see an ongoing thread here showing the following types of information concerning the more popular tourist sites throughout the country. I'm hoping that whatever might be posted would reflex an extremely high level of certainty based on first hand knowledge. That way, we who travel CCW under LEOSA can better know what to expect before we get there and plan accordingly.
1. Name of the facility (or means of transportation) and in which city?
2. Are Security personnel willing to help those with LE ties wherever possible?
3. Is the facility posted with legal signs prohibiting handguns?
4. Are metal detectors present and, if so, are they hand-held or fixed?
5. Are lock-boxes or other means available to secure your handgun if you are denied access with it on your person?
